Most of the dogs available for adoption are at our Pokfulam Kennels at 698 Victoria Road.
Access by car/taxi is via Cyberport Road only (first turning left as you turn into Cyberport Road from Victoria Road, Aberdeen end).
Buses stop in Cyberport Road directly opposite the turning for the kennels (bus stop is called Pokfulam Kennels). There is pedestrian access from Victoria Road itself (just past Wah Fu Estate). Follow the sign for the AFCD Animal Management Centre.
Look for the brightly painted fence!

DIRECTIONS TO HKDR KENNELS

By Car:

From Central via Pokfulam: follow the signs to Aberdeen on Pokfulam Road. Do not turn off towards Cyberport at Queen Mary Hospital but continue on towards Aberdeen until you see the sign for Cyberport on the right at the traiffic lights(there is also a signpost for the Animal Management Centre).
Turn right into Victoria Road, and carry on to the next traffic lights, taking a left turn onto Cyberport Road (also signposted for the Animal Management Centre). (You will see the kennels down below on the left side as you cross the bridge just after the traffic lights.) After 50m or so going down the hill, take the turning on the left which is signposted Animal Management Centre.

Follow the road around to the left (not right – this is the AFCD Animal Management Centre) and you will see HKDR outside. There is short-term parking outside the kennel entrance.

From Central via Aberdeen/South Island: (After coming through the Aberdeen Tunnel) stay on the main road heading towards Pokfulam until you see the Fire Station on the left. There are also signs for Cyberport. Turn left into Victoria Road and continue on until the traffic lights. Turn left into Cyberport Road, then left again at the first turning (only 100 yards or so along). Follow the road round to the left and you will see the HKDR banner outside.

By Taxi:

Ask the taxi driver to take you to Cyberport (So Ma Gong), Aberdeen end. As the taxi turns into Cyberport Road, almost immediately tell the taxi driver to turn left, keep left, and the kennels are on the left. If you find yourself at Cyberport itself, you have gone too far (or come in from the Pokfulam end of Cyberport Road). In this case, just continue up the hill and the turning for the kennels will then be on the right hand side of the road.

By Bus to Cyberport (Bel Air on the Peak) – southern end of Cyberport Road:

Citybus Routes 40 (Peak times only) from Central, 73 from South Side of the Island and 107P from Kowloon (Peak times only).

New World First Bus bus route 970 from Kowloon to Cyberport.

New World First Bus Route M49 (regular), M49P (Peak times) or X49 (Non-stop Peak times only) from Hong Kong Station, Central. The nearest bus stop is just at the entrance to the turning to the kennels and is the first stop on Cyberport Road (name of bus stop is Pokfulam Kennels). If the bus you have taken doesn’t go to Cyberport, you have to get off on Victoria Road at the stop called Animal Management Centre (this is the AFCD kennels).

By Minibus:

Green Minibus Routes 69 and 69A and 69X:

69 goes to North Point and Quarry Bay
69A goes to Aberdeen
69X goes to Causeway Bay.

Minibus routes 58 and 58A run along Victoria Road from Aberdeen to Kennedy Town. Bus stop is just at the turning to the kennels. Name of stop is Pokfulam Kennels.
